The most correct translation would be:

Lindo - male
Linda - female

To a person: Lindo (male) Linda (female)
To a kid: Tierno (male) Tierna (female)
To a thing, for example any Hello Kitty product or any other thing you may think is cute: Cuchi. Lindo/Linda can work in this case too.

In Mexico, cute is chulo(a).
I know this has other meanings in other countries,
but that's it.
BTW: Very cute is rechulo(a)
Remember this line from the song "Jalisco no te rajes":
Mujeres muy lindas, rechulas de cara,
Así son las hembras de Guadalajara.

guapo/guapoa means good looking.

hermoso/hermosa means beautiful.

Either of these would work!
