Should I get my nose pierced on both sides?

What should I do? Please advise.?
I am a 22 year old south indian Brahmin girl ( house wife)residing in India,married 2 years ago.My husband has been insisting that I get my both nostrils pierced and wear nose studs permanently. Should I agree to his request.?

If you want to, sure.

I don't know how your society is in India first hand, but it seems to me that your husbands needs/wants come before your own? (Sorry if I'm completely off base here). In America, a woman has the right to decide what happens to her body no matter what. I guess I really don't know about how it is in India. Soo... this whole paragraph was pointless, lol.

Basically, if you want to have it done, get it done. If not, then don't. Over all, it is YOUR body, not his. Don't let anyone force you to get something done that you really really don't want.

GuRL, do whatever YOU feel. Remember it is YOUR face and whenever you wake up in the morning, whatever you do you will ALWAYS see YOUR FACE everyday. If my husband had the nerve to pierce BOTH his nostrils, I would only do it. If I EVER pierce my nostril, I will only pierce one because it is my personal opinion that it is cuter. One piercing is more attractive to most people. Can you really live waking up everyday with two nostril piercings? Do whatever you think is beautiful and satisfying when you look at yourself in the mirror on a regular basis.

This is, after all a question of aesthetic, "beauty" preference/taste, or traditions. It also depends on whether you think it will look suitably attractive on your face.

Definetly YES.Iam also bramhin and this is our culture.My sister has two nose piercings.Second piercing was done at the time of marriage.You need not feel shy to follow our rich traditions.Nose pins also gives cool sexy look which will enrich your family life.So agree your husbend's request happily and wear nose studs on both sides.

i had a friend that got both nostrils pierced and it looked really odd, she ended up taking one side out. if you don't want both sides pierced then don't do it. or maybe compromise and get 2 piercings in one nostril (which looks ok depending on the size of the stud, smaller is better). but you should really go with what you want, it's ur face after all.

If its a cultural thing than maybe you should. I dont know what the customs are, and how large a roll your husband plays in demanding you do things. Only you would know this

If its not a cultural thing and its not going to cause you trouble, I would say do only one nostril, two would seem over done. But.... again, only you know whats right in your situation.

Since you are asking answer is no, no, no.

It should be your thing to do, if you do not like that, then tell your husband that you had it in the childhood and it pained a lot and cause infection so you gave up and the hole healed after lots of medication. You had to suffer a long time, it make you sick to think of it, so .............you had forgotten that you had it done, now you remember, tel him to get you a small pendent that you can were with mangal-sutra, and if you do not have mangal-sutra tell him to get you one.

You may want him to buy some thing else also, then tell him what you would cherish from him, like to ware it.

Definitely no, it looks very odd. One side preferably left side pierced and wearing studs looks very beautiful.

You can satisfy him by wearing clip-on nose ring that is available in many Fancy shops (mainly used by male to female cross dressers) on right side occasionally
