Who cares, it only hurts for a little while. Get it where you want it, the tattoo artist will give you a break if you're in too much pain. GO FOR IT!!! If you are from Tampa, Forbidden Images Tattoo Shop is a good one, it's in New Port Richey. Ask for Litos, he's awesome!

It will hurt more on bony parts such as lower back. in general the fleshier the area the less it hurts so bums tend to hurt less. however there is always a certain amount of pain with a tattoo so if you can't handle pain i wouldn't bother!

How bad do you want one? They can all hurt, but its mind over matter. I have permanent tattoo make up, lip liner and eye liner and then I have 3 hearts above my left ankle for each of my children. I wanted all these tattoos, so they really didn't hurt like one might imagine. :)

i have heard that it only hurts when you get it over bone... so i guess the butt would hurt the least? lol j/k i have no idea, i think the upper arm hurts least, and sometimes people get them on their hips or backs and that hurts a lot because the bone is close

I have a godsmack sun burst around my naval that did not hurt, I know that a full arm band can get painful around the back of your arm so keep that in mind.

My ankle didn't really hurt and believe it or not my inner wrist didn't either...If you want less pain, STAY AWAY FROM THE TOP OF YOUR FOOT! LOL, I just did this and it hurt so bad... arms/legs tend to hurt less for me anyways {I'm sure everyone is different}
