ohms..HELP ME OUT?

Question

can run two 4 ohm subs to an amp at a 2 ohm load...my subs are 4 ohms...can i get an amp to run 600 rms at 2 ohms and my subs be good...my subs are 300 rms

can i run 2 12's that are 300 rms @ 4 ohms....to a mono amp @ 2 ohms..would that hurt the subs??

first off ohms is a measure of resistance meaning the less ohms the easier the electricity flows meaning more power, well saying that, your amp is rated 600watts at 2 ohms which only puts out 300watts at 4 ohms. but your system is perfect cause with 2 subs at 4 ohms you can wire them in parallel and then they will only be a combined 2 ohms. which would be perfect for your amp. you can look up how to run them in parallel here http://www.crutchfield.com/learningcenter/car/subwoofers_wiring.html?suboptions=Mono%5F2%2D4ohm%2DSVC&type=mono. it is very easy to do but hard to describe without a diagram.

Most amps do not like 2 ohm loads and are prone to blowing out their final output stages. 4 subs should have 2 amps, with a total of 4 channels into a 4 ohm load.

Ohms is a measure of resistance.
4 Ohm speakers off a 2 Ohm amp. will not give rated power.
If you're talking 300 W. it might not matter much.

you don't know about ohm law ahh lock run your two 4 ohm woofers to your amp your amp is in two ohms right do this put your woofers in parallel this means positive to positive negative to negative now yoy got two woofers from 4 ohms into two ohms is easy dont you think

first of all you need to learn how to speak and write...but anyway hooking 2 4ohm subs will give you a 2ohm load...so you should be good..
