My daughter is almost 4. She has been throwing up for almost 24 hours, non stop, at least once an hour. She is throwing up white phlem, and running a 101.8 degree fever on top of all of this. Does anyone know of a GREAT home remedie for this? I have offered fluids, but she won't take it. Popsicles just come back up, chicken noodle soup doesn't help, she sat in a warm bath..nothing is helping. I am afraid she will become dehydrated. She has the diahrea too..so she is getting it from both ends. Please help!!! And yes, I know the hospital is an option, but they say not to go in unless the symptons occur for more than 3 days without seeing a doctor.

Get your daughter in regardless of the rules. She is dehydrating. Get some electrolytes, gatorade and there are others, go to the drug store. Get her to the doctor immediately

after 24 hours of vomiting and diahrea, she already is dehydrated. get her in for iv fluids and treatment now. She can get a quick shot of Kefergot to stop the nausea right away. Sounds like a case of food poisioning to me.

Bring her to the ER if she can't hold fluids down...She will need IV fluids to rehydrate her and meds to control the fever and stop the vomiting and diahrea. If she can hold down fluids, keep giving gatoraid and soup. Control the fever with tylenol and advil alternating them every 4 hrs...

your daughter needs IV fluids immediately, if she is vomiting and has diarrhea and is not taking any fluids orally, take her to the E.R.
