Ya know the blonde vs. brunette thing. They have commercials for some product about this. I don't know....just kinda mean how they dont consider us redheads at all.
Well maybe redheads are just so beautiful that they are trying to figure out who is runner up!!

i'll add black haired people to this question, but granted you never see redheads on hair commercials(unless it is dyed) and you see every other hair color including black on hair commercials. i hate that shampoo company...they leave out red and black haired people and they stereotype blondes and brunettes. Not a very good marketing strategy to me!!

I really do. We may only make up 1% of the world but we do exist. And there are so many versions of red! We are much prettier - we're jewels among pebbles. We make life exciting and I think it's really rude that these companies don't consider us. Great question!

ya i find that strange. I really don't know what color my hair is... its like a strawberry blond but sometimes it looks a lot more red. I think its just like that because the majority of people don't have red hair they have blond or brunette. And because that whole thing they say blonds are dumb but they have more fun. And brunettes are just smart i guess. But i don't find it offensive... i just use a different product!

I'm a redhead and I don't take offense at all. The largest demographic belongs to blondes and brunettes, it's all marketing strategy. Not a big deal at all.

This is one of the things that is wrong with the world. The natural color of a person's hair does not count towards anything. In fact, neither does the artificial color of a person's hair (so long as it isn't intentionally ridiculous). Blond, brown, black, red, or green: it doesn't matter. Hair is not something to worry about (one of many things wrong with interpersonal society).

3 points:
1) they test on animals so i don't use their products anyways
2) most "redheads" in the world actually have orange-colored hair. i've never seen anyone born with real red hair. if you see someone with red hair, you call tell they've died it
3) it's stupid to divide people by hair color. not to mention prejudice. you can't help how you were born (for the most part) so judging by that is sick, no matter blonde, brunette, caucasian, indian, short, etc.

my opinion

Although being a natural blonde, I have found it to be a little absurd too....Oh, and to correct a few statements, they do have a product to enhance black hair as well as blonde and brunette hair.
My only conclusion to this unfair thing is that perhaps the hair companies haven't found a way to enhance natural red highlights without actually dying it....
Oh, and to set the record straight, REAL blondes, don't care about the whole rivalry thing.

Actually, the correct term for a person with red hair is ginger.
Gingers also tend to have pale skin and freckles (with some exceptions). I am proud to be a ginger kid and I think that gingers should get more respect, with or without hair products
(although, I could use some).

Its cause of the freckles.
But I'll tell you a secret.
The hottest girls of all time are redheads......Who have dyed their hair black.
Somehow it just ******* CLICKS with the freckles.
A lot of the lighter red heds gor for blonde, and they look like ****.
Dye it black, trust me, you will go up like 2 points on the Hot Babe scale.
Then don't die it. Just letting ya know.
I havnt dyed my hair yet either.
My skin is too light (need to tan more) and so black hair will look odd on me. and thats the only other choice i'd take.
Right now its brown, better then being a ronald weasley any day.

i know!!! thats been bothering me 4 awhile now, ive just been boycotting their products... but im not sure if just 1 person boycotting them makes a difference. And they are also leaving out ppl with black hair. But ya, i think its offensive but its could also be offensive to Blondes and Brunnettes, in the commercails (especially blondes) they stereo type. So that shampoo brands advertising all in all is bad if u ask me.
