If you picked 1 then I'm with you. I do like the idea of runway 100 but is it suitable for modern aircraft?

Airport runways are heading rounded to the nearest 10 degrees. Warning - some airports (like DFW) have multiple runways with same alignment, but for clarity with slightly different numbers.

10 would give you a perfect 90 degree crosswind at 25 knots - above the crosswind capability of almost all aircraft.

25 would be a tail wind with a crosswind component - a very bad idea.

100 - can't have it - compass only goes to 36

so 1 it is - a perfect headwind - ideal conditions - if it's not too gusty.

Runway 1 is aligned 10 degrees magnetic with the winds coming from 10 degrees would mean this is the preferred rwy
runway 10 is 100 degrees giving you a 90 degree x-wind, not good at 25 Knots!

It would be runway 1... that would be nearly a direct headwind... Runway 25 would be a little bit of a crosswind... runway 10 would be a complete crosswind... and there is no such thing as a "runway 100..."

NOTE: That runway heading trick is not always accuate... while it is the guide that all runways are named by, at airports that have 4 or more parallel runways, they are given two numbers in sequence... for example... runways 6L, 6R, 7L, and 7R at LAX all have a magnetic heading of 69 degrees...

Do you mean winds are 010? If so, then the preferred runway would be 01. This means that the wind is coming from 010, or 10 degrees off north. I'm not sure what else to tell you about it, lol.

Definately RWY 01. That would be basically a direct headwind.
