One of my great grand parents is part Indian so my hair is somewhat soft. When its wet it curls up and looks really cool. Some what like a light jerry curl. I have been looking for a product that would help to keep my hair looking this way when its dry & with out having to jerry curl it, or worry about it being greasy and ruining my hats and pillow. If you watch the New York Mets, Jose Reyes recently did this to his hair. Does any one have any suggestions on what product I am searshing for?

You would want to get an Texturizer. However, it is a chemical, yet they grow out and go back to your natural state of hair after 3-4 months so no worries! African American men uses a chemical texturizer to make their hair curly or wavy depending on how long you leave the chemical when it is processing. When they wet it, it is like a nice curl and then they add some gel or wave lotion on it. If you don't want it looking so long, cut your hair short and then put the texturizer on. They sell texturizers in almost every store with African American Beauty products, or even a Beauty supply store. It is no more than $6 a box... If this is your first time, you may want to go to a beauty salon or barber shop to let a professional texturize your hair. It is up to you, because you could really do it yourself. Just read the directions.. But, yes it is a chemical and some people don't like chemicals in their hair, it grows out though after 3-4 months.. but it is up to you!

I prefer hair that is shoulder length or longer, As well as since that men who like ladies are more often then not directly, they like long hair because this looks more feminine, as most men have short hair.

You can try using S Curl, but your hair may end up looking greasy. You can find it in beauty supply stores. Your best bet is to go to a salon though.

P.S.- Most Black men have naturally curly or wavy hair.
