I listen to a mixed playlist I made on my iPod. It has some Fallout Boy, Eric Prydz, dance remixes of The Killers and Kelly Clarkson, some music from the O.C. soundtracks. Whatever has a beat is a good choice. A faster one means you'll probably be motivated to work out a little faster. There are certain songs I listen to that really motivate me, so I give it my all while working out. I shuffle it, so it never gets old (there are like 50 songs in it right now, I'll probably change it soon).

I do alot of jogging on machines - it is actually boring so I always have my earphones handy with my favorite fast songs during the jogging process - listening to music always seems to make running so much more entertaining. I'm a bollywood fan so I listen to really modern Indian songs (if you are really interested I can email you some titles).
When I am warming up and cooling down I listen to slow songs to match the mood. Among them are:
- Vedi Maria
- Light Surrounding You
- Goodbye Girl
- Everybody's changing
The way to go is really find music you love and can listen to for long periods that matches the pace of the exercise you are doing. That's what fitness classes do when they are choosing music

I found that it's better to watch something interesting on television while working out. That keeps me focused on what's going on on the screen rather than checking every 2 minute for how long I've exercised. I do my crunches while I watch the news and I don't miss a thing on the news while I count, and I do my bike while I watch law and order or something like that. Usually I end up doing more than my goal because I am concentrating on the news/movie and forget to count-I simply finish when the shows are over.....

I work at least three times a week. Among my favorites are:
"Eye of the Tiger" (From the Rocky Balboa movies): it makes you feel like a champ and strong
Ya Rayah (by Rachid Taha), it is a middle-eastern song, that makes you want to move your booty!
"Clint Eastwood" by the Gorillaz: it is just a happy., optimistic song that puts you in a good mood as you are sweating that fat out!
"One is the magic number": Jill Scott: very motivational
PS: I also like to look at pictures of strong and sexy stars like Jessica Biel to motivate me on my work-outs.

something rock or techno does the trick for me. "Io Canto," Laura Pausini's recent album (in Italian) is sheer gold for me. Any of her stuff from 1998 (l. a. Mia Risposta) on is fantastically solid, i believe. She additionally releases her albums in Spanish if that's extra constructive suited on your tastes than Italian. besides the undeniable fact that, while you're extra into English stuff, i could advise eco-friendly Day, Fallout Boy, Hendrix, etc. Stuff like that. Springsteen isn't undesirable, the two.
