Very rarely do these go out of adjustment, but they can be adjusted. It is a touchy thing and not for a beginner. The best thing to do is take it into a shop and get the front end inspected to see if or what is worn out. More likely you have something worn out and in need or repair. This is a safety issue so act appropriately. If there are worn parts, get them replaced with a quality part and then get the truck a good alignment. Some of these trucks also came with an electrical sensor located at the base of the steering column that did cause some complaints like this. Be sure of the mechanical side before proceeding. Good luck.

I wouldn't think that this list of symptoms is the gear box unless you have been running it in the Baja 500 for the past ten years. This sounds very much like the steering linkage like tie rods and or ball joints. Once this is identified they will do an alignment and this will stop the drifiting.

Good Luck!

perplexed alongside with your forth sentence, sorry. once you're saying "that's going to in straightforward terms turn over" means that the starter is cranking the engine. in case you advise the engine isn't beginning and working, you may prefer a gas pump. attempt turning the substantial to the on place 2 or thrice, this would best the gas device, wait 5 seconds between turning on the substantial. Then attempt beginning the engine.
