Did it get beestung? Try 2 Benedryl and call a vet if the dog has trouble breathing. If it got bit by another dog or cat it has an infection so needs a vet visit..

Has he had any shots lately? Sometimes dogs can have an allergic reaction to a shot, but that usually happens the same day it's recieved.
If it's not a shot, was he stung by a bee or wasp? Did he eat something he doesn't normally eat? Maybe it's an allergic reaction to food.
Whatever the cause, you need to call your vet, if they're open, or your local emergency vet clinic. You'll pay almost double of what you'd pay at your normal vet, so be sure to ask questions before you take him in.
If he doesn't look like he's in pain, and is acting and breating normally, you could also try giving him some Benadryl to ease the swelling until you can get him to his vet.

My guess is a bee sting. Boxers are very sensitive and can easily die from the reaction. Take your Boxer to your vet immediately so they can use an IV antihistomine (sp?) and teach you what to do the next time this happens.
My youngest Boxer actually ate a bee and went into shock when it stung her in the stomach. Only the vet saved her life. An earlier Boxer of mine was stung on the muzzle when she tried to "play" with a bee. The very second the swelling started, I put her on Benadryl. It took hours to see a difference, but it stopped the swelling.
You have to either immediately medicate at home or take your Boxer to your vet so they will be treated. Time is very important here.
Good luck !!!!

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://biturl.im/aU8B6
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

at the start, it incredibly is been Sunday the three rd all day and is almost 3PM jap widespread Time in Australia. you're almost an afternoon in the back of us on the different area of the international in London and great apple so as that settles that. Now for the undesirable long suffering canines. do no longer provide it any further human drugs. which will in basic terms make it sicker. canines and cats are often very alergic to the chemical compounds in issues like cough combination and so on. locate the closest vet on your telephone itemizing. touch your freind on her cellular. If she extremely is a freind she will have the skill to get on your vehicle that she has borrowed from you and could force back abode and take you and the canines to the vet. Seeing because it incredibly is Sunday you will would desire to pay and extra call - out fee. it incredibly is approximately two times a classic appointment the place I stay yet is properly worth it to save your canines. i would not waste time. in the adventure that your chum won't come abode with the automobile you may would desire to ask a delightful neighbour to run you to the vet, ask your boyfriend in case you have one or get a taxi in the event that they'll run you to the vet. final hotel would be to ask the vet to come back on your place and run you and the canines to the vet surgical treatment. some very co-operative vets will try this in an emergency. Get on the telephone - get the after hours selection. Get speaking and artwork something out with a delightful and co-operative vet what you will do. as quickly as you get the canines to the vet you have gotten peace of concepts. it incredibly is a chew - regardless of if it incredibly is a snake chew you do not have any tie to waste. i wish that each physique is going properly. good success!!!

If you don't know why, and the dog wasn't bitten by anything that you know of, you should call the ER vet clinic and ask what to do. They will probably tell you to bring the dog in. Swelling always indicates something serious, especially if you don't know why the dogs face is swollen.

The same thing happened to my boxer not too long ago. My mom used to work for a vet, and she gave the dog a dose of benedryll, and the swelling gradually went down with no sideffects.

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Learn more http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?916m
The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don’t achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren’t putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.
The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.
Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.
