All kinds of babies do that. They don't know bladder control yet. It can't be helped until the dog is house trained and even then there may be "accidents" when he is excited.

It's pretty common for a puppy to get excited and urinate. Puppies can't fully control their bladders yet, and they're still learning. This method seems to work for some people with dogs that urinate when they get really excited:
Does your puppy urinate when you get home? If so, the minute you get home, don't give your puppy eye contact or attention. Just walk in the house and do something. After your puppy calms down, you can go over and pet him but don't make a big fuss. Get down and say hi, but don't get him all excited because he may just urinate again. After he has calmed down, take him outside to do his business.
Most dogs outgrow this. Just be very patient because your dog is still a baby. Don't yell at him when he does urinate. If you catch him in the act, clap your hands to distract him, and immediately bring him outside. I'm sure there are more methods out there. You'll probably find lots of information if you look on the internet. Find a method that works for your puppy and you. Good luck!

This is a dog thing....they do it.
Try being calmer with the dog, don't get the puppy all excited, they have a hard time keeping their bladder held when they get excited. Take him outside to pee more often than you think they'll need to 'go', because a young dog really can't hold it for too long. Right after they wake up they'll need to go. After they eat, they'll need to go. Before bedtime, you know the routine!
But getting too excited they sometimes forget themselves and go right there on the floor, so be calm and don't get them all energized up.

Well to be honest, not alot you can do. Puppies are just excited little things. They grow out of it, don't worry. The only thing you can do is figure out what makes your puppy so excited it has to go and put it outside when it happens. Example. My puppy got soooo exicted when ever someone came over, she loves people. So when someone came over I make sure to have her outside when she met them so she would do it there and not all over the carpet. hope that helps

Almost every dog I have did that as a puppy. They're just excited and really can't help themselves. It usually doesn't last but just a couple of weeks.

Don't yell at it when it pees, but scold it with a firm voice and put it outside. Whether it pees outside or not, praise it when it goes outside.

Well they are puppies so I guess until you house train it you're just going to deal with it somehow.
