How hard can it possibly be to find one?

Men are everywhere. What qualities are needed to be considered a nice guy? If you met a man with the ideal personality, but he was lacking in the looks department, would you pass him up?

Why do people make this stuff so complicated?

Because its easier to ask that than to admit that they have lousy taste in men and cant pick a good one to save their life

True, Men are everywhere but it really is hard to find a good man. I'm sure it's the same way with men looking for a good woman.
People are not always what they seem to be and it's very hard to tell the good from the bad.
It takes time to know a person and a lot of men just don't want to give you that time. They want to rush things.
This is just my feelings and maybe not the answer you want.

The guys that are out there charming women and making all the right moves are very often just playing a part to get what they want. So it gets very hard to find a "good man" when you can't tell them apart until it's too late. And as stereotypical as it is, a lot of women really do like the bad boys. They like the sense of adventure, and ignore the downsides initially because it's fun.

i think we are not so much looking for a "good guy" we are looking for the "right" guy. a man can be incredibly good looking, or have a great personality, but if the attraction isnt there then theres not point going into it. so when we say a good guy it just means we havent found mr right yet. all girls have their little fantasies and such about their ideal guy, and often they will pass up a guy who maybe is good but isnt their ideal..if that makes sense...
personally i have dated guys who had more personality and very little looks, and i def would do it again, if the attraction is there then looks dont matter.

people are always looking for complications where there arent any, i think people just like the drama... we complicate everything to make life more..interesting.... easy is boring?;)

An excellent question. There are a lot of not so good guys out there as well. That said sometimes it is frustrating to both sexes when they just can't find that partner that makes things tick for them. Some who fills the bill of their list of predetermined hopes and needs.

All things come to those who wait.

speaking for women (or at least me and my female friends..) we would rather the guy have a great personality and not be so hot. men on the other hand (not ALL i'm sure) would go for looks over a great personality any day.

I agree with Kevin--good things come to those who wait, and I still am I guess even though I'm married. I got impatient. I also agree that one who says this is just not satisfied with past or current experiences.

That is one of the gold diggers best lines. They want to know where the guys with money is, so they can get to them before the real good girls come along.

Mainly, sincere and trust are lost in between both genders. so it became so rare that our sub-conscious evokes it out loud in a random form starting with "Where" ... do you think its plenty of them around? so again, I vote to the question that is searching for a real answer.

Experience is my sweet bitter tutor.
