What are you doing up at this time of night young man?!?!?!?
If you don't mind, why don't you leave it up to the parents. Other than that, maybe uncle Daniel would be nice, at least whilst he's little.

Just be who you are and I expect it will be Daniel. It will certainly give you something both to talk about and also laugh about as when you meet people it will always come up in conversation.
My aunt is about 15 years older than me and I have always called her by just her first name. She has far too young an out look on life to be called Aunty !! I am 45 now.
You enjoy having a nephew young man I think you will be a great uncle.

Go with what you are comfortable with. However, bear in mind that by the time this baby is 3 yrs old you will be 15 and he/she will look at you as an adult. If you think you would be cool with Daniel that's fine. If you think you would like a little more respect get that 'uncle' word in. Trust the baby arrives fit and strong or peite and delicate, depending on the sex.

just be Daniel. It,s strange my children refer to their aunts and uncles with their title ( Auntie X or Uncle Y) but when they see then they usually just call them by their. my grandson does the same with his great aunts and uncles as well as his actual ones and friends of his Mother.

Plain Daniel. When you and he are both older there'll be a phase where you'll be 'uncle', but when you're both v. old it'll be back to first name terms. ;)

Usually, the child chooses how he addresses you. Sometimes too, allowing for the title "uncle" differentiates you from cousins.
