If i buy a tele pickup, will it work with a strat?

Yes, if u wire it correctly. It will alter the tone and look of ur Strat, but that's presumably what u want. Hope this helps.

If it physically fits, it will work, if you are using a "lipstick tube" pickup, you may have to use some sort of flange below your pickguard to hold it in place.
