I guess if you have a crush you have a crush. It is NOT OK to act on your feelings. No matter what age your teacher is, it is against the law for him to have any involvement with you other than through the school. You could cause him to lose his job and because of your feelings, he could have a bad reputation. If you really like this teacher, respect him and his job.

I think the first question is... what grade are you in? Because if you're like, in elementary school, then that could be kind of weird. But if you're in high school or in college then not so much. I've had plenty of crushes on teachers and I can't seem to help it because I'm attracted to mature, smart men, and often they happen to be older. Difference is, I've never acted upon it...

As long as it is just a crush and you don't try to get intimate with the teacher it is fine. Teachers get fired regularly for messing with students and some of them are prosecuted as pedophiles.
My advice is find you a boyfriend your age and leave the teacher alone. Perhaps you should get you a T-shirt with JAIL BAIT stenciled on it to keep him reminded.

Depends on what you mean by "crush" -- does that mean that you fantasize about having a relationship, but nothing more? If so, I guess that's okay. Everybody does it.
It's not okay for your teacher to have a romantic/sexual relationship with you, though, because to do so would be to abuse the authority of the teacher/student relationship.
So if your teacher responds to your crush, please know it's NOT okay.

It's alright to have a crush on your teacher and harmless. But if this teacher likes you back, you'd wanna tell someone and get help. That's just creepy.

No, its wrong. Teachers around here get in trouble for dating students. Both high school and college. I have read stories in the newspaper.
