Not recently, but I think we will now!
I'm a bit of a soppy git at heart, and things like that are always warming to see when you're not with your loved one - it's nice to know that you can be in different parts of the world from each other, but you'll still both be able to see your star at night (I told you I was a bit mushy at times :D )
And for those of the "You'll never find it again" camp - you just pick one close to (or part of) an easily recognisable constellation - the middle one on Orion's belt, the handle of the big dipper, the one on the end of Cassiopeia. Makes it easy to find again!
Now go and find your star!!! NOW!

Not as such, but I recall looking through my window and describing the location of a star I could see, she saw it too from her window and yeh, I remember which one it was.

oh yes i have :)
there was 3 stars in a row that was always always there everynight... once we were lying on the grass in his backgarden at night.
he told me as those 3 stars are there, he will love me <3
theyre still there :D

yep-we claimed Orions Belt! it being the only constellation i know how to find (that and the saucepan, ie the plough!)
