Have you started watching when you was younger or get into it later on?
Went to my first race at Charlotte, the Mellow Yellow 500 when I was 11 (25 now) been hooked ever since.

Ten. A long time ago. I spent a summer with family in Hickory, NC and saw my first stock car race in 1955. Been hooked ever since.

I think I was about 8 or 9. I don't remember watching the '79 500 fight, but I think I became a fan that summer. Awesome Bill was my driver through the '80's. I kinda stopped watching right out of high school. When I did get back to following it daily I hooked on to Jeff Burton and haven't strayed since!

Ive been a fan all of my life, my dad and uncles all raced at the local tracks. My first nascar race was the 1983 Daytona 500, Cale Yarborough won, I was 8 years old. Im now 32.

2 day's old.
But I really got hooked when I was 11 and watched the 1979 Daytona 500.
My Dad's work friend was going through a divorce and had to leave his three(yes 3) story house and 30 acres with 2 horses in Hillsboro Missouri to move into a 1 bedroom apartment.
My parents took me to his apartment for a sunday BBQ and to console him and they stuck me in the family room with the TV while they hung out on the deck.
Little did they know, that day changed my life forever!

Since '97 and I was in my late 30's. My brothers said that I needed to pick a driver and stick with it. I've been a Mark Martin fan ever since and rarely miss a race. Have been to California Speedway (boring) and Daytona. Have also flown into Bristol and saw the track from the air. Now that is a track I would like to get to!!!

Im 15 now but I got into Nascar back in 2003 at the race in Sonoma. Awesome race!

As far back as I can remember, I have been a racing fan. Been going to races of one kind or another (open wheel, dirt tracks, modifieds, outlaws, etc) since I could walk. A long, long time. It just grew into Nascar from there. Hooked for life!

I was 7 when I first got into Nascar. I would always watch it on TV with my dad. My first race was at Daytona in 1996. I was ten years old. I'm 21 now and still love it just as much if not more. ^_^ Smiles!!!

I have been a Nascar fan since about '93 or '94. I started getting involved in watching it from my father being a racing fan. He would watch Nascar, Indy racing.....stuff like that. I've yet to be at a race myself, but My dad has been to Fontana, Phoenix, Indy.

I was 7 years old.
It was 1960 at Dixie Speedway in Midfield Alabama,a 1/4 mile track.
THe race was won by Ned Jarrett,the most intresting side note is there were 3 Pettys racing(Lee,Richard,and Maurice).

i was 9 or 10 years old i think 1960 or 1961 watching what little they showed on the wide world of sports( A B C) before they went to curl ling from Canada. you never saw the whole Daytona 500 until about 1979.
