I'm just curious. I always write 'and', rather than '&'.

Okay Wize Woman, let me put it in a different way, since you don't seem to understand my question.
Do you use the ampersand at all when writing? Thats what I am asking. Not the usage of it, but weather or not you actually use it.

I always use "and". Typing and writing. I don't really like the ampersand.

I always write 'and' unless I'm writing a note to someone, then I usually use +.

& is kind of a commercial way - it is a short cut
