Fried Chicken. Take a little egg and flour and cover the chicken, cook in oil for about an hour on medium heat turning often to prevent burning ( you can add a little seasoning to the flour if you like).
Pork chops. I almost always fry pork chops.
Grilled cheese sandwiches.
Stir Fry: use stir fry veggies, some soy or terriyaki sauce and your favorite type of meat. Brown the meat and add veggies and sauce. Cook until veggies are tender. Serve over rice.
Quesadillas: Take a flour tortilla and fill it with cheese. Put in pan and fold in half, turning until crispy and cheese is melted. You can add pre cooked chicken or beef if you'd like.
You can cook hamburgers on the range,
or you can cook hotdogs by boiling them or bratwurst on the range in a frying pan.
Sorry I can't think of more.
I hope this helps.

You can make any kind of crumble desserts on the top of the stove....peach, apples, strawberry, cherry, whatever.....use some fruit w/ some butter on the top of the stove, use some quick oats, brown sugar and some cinnaman....yumm! Also, egg rolls work well......get some egg roll wraps.... in a deep pan cook up some sausage till browned and done....mix in dry bagged coleslaw mix...cook till all mixed and hot....put mixture into the egg roll wrappers and deep fry em in a pan w/ some veggie oil....they are awesome, make some spanish rice on the side and your all set
Good luck !

Try http://allrecipes.com/
great site with easy to follow recipes.
i cook all sorts of things on the stove top because it is just too hot here to use the oven during the summer. using a bar-b-que is a good option too.
