I've just bought a bottle of it and I wonder if it as good as it sounds. I usually use Pantene products and they leave my hair really good.
I was using Pantene shampoo for curly/wavy hair, just changed to Ice Shine.

Is Pantene Ice shine shampoo good?
What are your comments on Ice shine hair spray? I haven't bought that one, shall I?

If it's Pantene and it's claiming higher shine, then it most likey contains a lot of drying agents that make hair freeze in the style and not a whole lot of anything else...Anything else would be to lessen the drying affect that freezes hair in place. That also can reduce shine. But if it's Pantene you can also guarantee that it's made as cheaply as possible, otherwise they'd have to raise the price. The process alone to make things work for your hair is expensive. I don't know how it got started that pantene "ruins" your hair... but it does not ruin it...It just doesn't do anything.

The more "smoothing" words in the tagline of the product, the more cheap heavy weighted silicone is in it. Proctor and Gamble doesn't care about your hair..they care about your money. The more expensive store brands has to do with advertising, they simply pass that cost on to you. And they hope you are as dumb as they counted on.

Put a model under some good lighting and tell you what they think you want to hear? Good...now you'll buy it cause "it said so"... Have we learned nothing from infomercials people? LoL

Pantene (and just about every other store brand out there) just takes the simplist and cheapest route possible. There are no laws or regulations governing shampoos and conditioners, they are self regulated...

So how much knowledge do you really think went in to that $2.00 bottle of hair care product?
