A couple of dudes I know did an experiment to try and conjure up Satan to prove that he, and in turn, the Bible, Jesus, and his entire entourage is all BS. They did all kinds of incantations and rituals that they read about somewhere and guess what, nope, he did not appear. Imagine that.

hey, it's all part of the business model, no satan=no reason for the church to exist. So you see that is why the satan myth is an integral part of the brainwashing. In the battle for your dollars, god/jesus have to have an opponent, otherwise there is no reason to hand over the cash. It's like professional wrestling, you have the huge guy (god) vs. the evil bad guy(devil) every once in a while you have to let the little evil guy win to make it interesting, to keep the drama up, so the fans keep showing up. So like wrestling, even though they know the characters are fake, the sheep keep showing up every sunday

Your question is does satan exist? The answer is yes, he does. But he is a spirit being--he does not have a flesh body as we do. He can possess a person who is not saved because a person who is born-again has the Holy Spirit indwelling them. And God is all powerful.

lol! He doesn't show himself, because he has nothing to prove to you. If you were like "Brian, I dare you to show me you are real, by flying to my town and meeting me for some coffee" do I have to come to meet you to show you I am real?
No...and I wouldn't anyway because I would be like "why do I have to prove I am real??" That is what the devil thinks....you don't believe in God, therefore you're worthless....seriously! Satan hates people who believe in God, so only them does he try to lead astray....you're already down that path so he doesn't want to waste his time.

If he shows himself to you that's an absolute confirmation of his existance that removes your doubts... then you'll start thinking "if he exists then so does God and if he exists i'm in trouble..." which might lead you off the path of damnation.
