I'm a virgin and I'm worried about STDs. There's always a chance a girl could lie to me about how many partners she's had or if she's always had "safe" sex. Condoms aren't 100% effective. A lot of people who have STDs dont show any symptoms and dont even know they have it.
How can I ever trust someone to take that risk? How do you not worry about STDs nowadays?

Just get any vaccinations you can get, use condoms properly, be upright and honest, and hope people do the same for you. MOST STD's are easily treatable with a few days of antibiotics. And every day cures/treatments are being developed for the bigger and more serious STD's.
Eventually you'll get over your fear, if you find someone you love. Try dating for a while before sex, and hope that the relationship is strong enough that she'll be honest with you.

STDs are just one big conspiracy, sex with the most amount of partners is the most effective way of spreading your genes biologically speaking. And in this day and age, everybody could stand to have at least another dozen children( most may not survive ).

WAIT ,wait do not have sex right alway get to know the person,after knowing her u should be able to assume what kind of her she is, the easy she is with u the easy she is with anyone.(if is the so,she is more likely to have std.)
the best way not to get std is to abstain!
untill u get married.

well the only thing i can say is stop worrying about it you catch it you catch it just go for regular check up at your nearest clinic. calm down or other way you could do it get drunk you will for get about it then n no wonder your a virgin

Dude if youre so concerned about it then ask for proof like a doctor's test result. Then you wont have to worry if your girlfriend is lying to you.

well if you have a gf, you should be able to trust her...
but if thats not enough reassurance, you can ask her to go get tested for STDs.
just go to the Dr/ planned parenthood. i think they give tests there.
