Accurate to a certain extent. Certain things will happen that were in the book but much is thought up. It states it is a work of fiction. The biblical themes in it are all pretty accurate. Peace out........

The Left Behind series is based on scripture about as much as Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Matt says that Darby introduced it. Actually, Darby brought it into the protestant church. The fictional idea of the rapture, followed by a period of tribulation in which Mr. Bad Guy shows up, was dreamed up by two jesuits, Francisco Ribera and Robert Bellarmine, at the order of Pope Leo, who wanted to draw attention away from the fact that the protestant reformers, when they finally got their hands on the Bible, interpreted the papacy as being an antichrist. The pope also wanted to get back all those catholics who fled his church in favor of the protestant reformation. Hundreds of thousands of protestants paid for that with their lives. So, Darby brought the idea to England, where it languished until Hal Lindsay made it popular through his book The Late Great Planet Earth and Jenkins and LaHay further popularized it through the Left Behind books. Due to their gullibility and lazy scriptural study habits, more than 90% of modern day protestants believe it is true.

A human is left behind if:
Man doesn't pursue Wisdom, which is mans true birthright.
Doesn't discard his own faults, yet finds faults with others.
Doesn't see the Light of God within all human beings.
This is a mini list, of the human that is left behind.

It is a work of fiction! Parts of the Bible were used to build the story line, but that doesn't make it the gospel truth. It is 2 men's interpretation of the Bible.

Left Behind is a work of fiction.
There is no Biblical reference to the rapture. None.
The concept of the rapture was invented less than 150 years ago by a guy named Darby.
