You will get a mixed litter, some red, some tan pups. You might even get some black, patched or any other colour pups, it depends on what genes the parents are carrying.

And for the record, Kris L, all the puppies would be purebred, red nosed pitts and any other colour are JUST colours, not breeds. A pitbull is a pitbull, no matter what colour it is. And eh, use less of 'these'. They are used in the wrong context, not necessary. Jeez...

Bit off track there, but I hope this helps!

It is definitelly going to be a pitbull:) Cute one, that's for sure. But really why do you want to mix them? We have 3 pitbulls (1 female-black nosed & 2 males-1 black nosed & 1 red nosed) and I think if you are planning on selling the puppies you should try not to mix red nose with tan nose. But if you are doing this just to have puppies for yourself then of course it doesn't matter as long as they are healthy:)

It depends on the genetics (genotypes) of the parents. If you do not have a genetic history of these dogs they should not be bred. Likewise, the parents need to be tested for genetic defaults such as hip dysplasia prior to breeding. If you know the genotypes of the parents you may be able to guess at the phenotypes of the puppies, however, there are never guarantees in nature.

It depends on the ancestry of the dog the red nose could be dominant or the black nose could be. my pitbull has more of the brindle in him and mom is not brindle, she was tan black nose but dad is full brindle.

You would have 1/4 with fully red noses, 1/4 with fully black noses, and 1/2 with 'mixed color noses' unless one of those traits was 'dominant' and the other 'recessive' in the genetic background. You'd basically get a litter of 'cute pitbull puppies' ... which are 'close to' being purebred, but are not actually 'purebred' dogs ... they are basically raised to be 'fighters' in illegal 'dog fighting pits' hence the name ... so BE CAREFUL because unless you KNOW that neither 'parent' of your pitbull was used 'illegally' the dog could 'turn' and start 'biting' if it feels 'threatened' ... so RAISE YOUR DOG PROPERLY and your 'chances' will be 'less' that the dog will 'turn' ...

Only mother could answer this question. You get what you get.
Here is a picture of mine. Her mother was a red nose and the father was a blue.
