I have always noticed that beer bottles are worth 10cents in MI, i was wondering where you have to take them to and is there a limit on how many you can sell at a time

Almost anywhere...just look for places that recycle. This can be grocery stores, recycling centers, etc.

There's no limit...you're not selling them. The 10 cents is built into the price of the drink when purchased...on top of the regular cost. All you're doing is getting that 10 cents back per container. It's like getting the $95 deposit you put on a keg back when you return the keg...just on a much smaller scale.

They aren't worth 10 cents, it is a deposit that you pay when you purchase the items, so they can be sure you will bring them back for recycling. It is to reduce the amount waste in our landfills. They do it in several other states as well.

When I lived in Michigan, we returned bottles to the grocery where we bought the drinks. We could return 2 liter soft drink bottles too. All they asked was that they were clean.
