It is a clicking sound that lasts for about 10 seconds and happens about every other 10 seconds. It is so annoying that it makes it hard to even watch TV. I'm not sure if it is the wiring or a defect or what. The TV is about 3-4 years old and has a great picture. Any help is greatly appreciated.

It could be your cell phone, mine makes noises like that when it communicates with the system, regularly like you are describing. Or could be some other Ariel radio wave disturbance.
