Nobody knows. I've heard the theory about December 21 2012. Something to do with our solar systems position in the galaxy. It's also the end of time according to the Mayan Calander psychics seem to have seized this idea and ran with it making a bunch of predictions for the year 2012, predictions ranging from the end of the world to everyone suddenly becoming psychic or Aliens revealling themselves to us.
I also remember people swearing it was going to end March 15 1983. That came and went.
Then there was Y2K, all of the Nuclear Missles were supposed to launch because of that computer bug. That came and went.
I'm pretty sure if it ends you won't get any warning. It'll just happen. maybe in 10,000 years or maybe tomorrow. i wouldn't worry about it.

Althought there are numerous theories about when the world might end, most of the theories are based of mythology.
The world will end in 5 Billion years when the sun eventually collaspes into a black hole that light even can't escape.

U know what the bible says something about that it didnt say the exact time or date but it left clues to whats goin to happen and then theres going to be Armagedon, which is when satan is going to rule the earth for 7 years and hes going to make the earth hell, and only the people who believed in god is going to go to heaven with god, i dont know the whole story cause my mom told me a while back, but its pretty intresting stuff though.

The earth isn't going to end until the sun goes supernova. Life on earth may cease, but the earth will be around for billions of years.

2012 could be the end of the world as we know it, which means big change. personally I think that we may go into another mini ice-age, and possibly become more at one with nature.
