if it goes untreated for too long it can cause premature labor, so get a rx for antibiotics soon. But it won't hurt the baby if you wait until monday or tuesday. You will be uncomfortable though!

Urinary tract infections can in fact harm the fetus however, this situation is not common but they (the uti) should not be ignored. That is why it is imperative that once they are suspected and detected, medication be taken in order to eliminate them. Unfortunately, pregnant women are more prone to UTIs than another other group of people and this is due to the hormonal changes as well as the need for frequent urination as the pregnancy progresses. Here are some suggestions to help limit your chances of having reoccurring ones: 1. Do not hold urine under any circumstances. When you have to go, GO! 2. Drink cranberry juice and plenty of water. 3. Wipe from front to back, ALWAYS. 4. Urinate before and after intercourse whenever possible. 25 weeks pregnant and a sore back is not uncommon and may have nothing to do with the UTI. If your cramps hurt and do not discontinue, I advice you contact your doctor. Best of luck!

Not if you get it taken care of right away. I had one at about 4 months (when I was having morning sickness...of course) and the doctor gave me the antibiotics and made me drink cranberry juice. Your urinary system is separate from your reproductive system so your baby is safe unless you let yourself get run down. That's not good for either one of you. Good luck and take care!

It would be best to see your doctor about this. Urinary infections can turn pretty nasty if left untreated, and even if it doesn't hurt your baby it could hurt you.

No. It's going to make you really uncomfortable. Your urinary tract is completely seperate from the uterus.
