I do get drunk often. I occasionally get wrecked. The difference for me is, when I am drunk, I am aware of my surroundings. I know what I am doing and what I say, for the most part. I can hold my alcohol, but when the liquor/booze gets flowing, look out. I got trashed off Jack last week. When Jack and I get together, I lose control of myself. Usually when that happens I don't remember a thing after a certain point. And I try not to talk about what happened until someone fills me in. Am I embarrassed when it happens though? Nope, I'm 24, still alive and didn't land in prison, so I think it was a blast.
Cheers!

I don't get drunk very often, perhaps once a week. Only once have I blacked out. (done things without remembering what they are the next day.) I remember laying down on my couch, then remember waking up in my bed. (my bowl was in the bathroom, so I must have made a side trip.) Do I feel embarrassed? You are talking to a guy who mooned Main street while he was sober. I doubt I'd feel embarrassed if I did anything while drunk.

I used to just about every day. But, I'm only allowed to drink once a week now and we don't keep any liquor in the house.
The last time I was drunk was quite embarrassing. I'm afraid of the parts I can't remember.. It was a work party.. Apparently I hit on my boss and his boss, sang karaoke and rode a mechanical bull. I can't remember any of that. I do remember some guy saying, "Wow, a girl that can drink more then me" and he bought me some pineapple drink. I regained consciousness in a puddle of vomit in the bathroom. Got kicked out of the bar with all my coworkers watching. Yeah, not cool. I hate it when I do that. Now my husband always comes with me when there's alcohol involved.

Yes, I get drunk probably about 4-5 times per week. I am one of the fortunate(unfortunate?) people that cannot drink myself to unconsciousness, as I will get sick well before that time. I always remember what I did, with some occasional spotty memories missing.

Drinking should be used to enhance your fun times out, not make you pass out. I would be completely embarrassed if I did that often.

I never just sit and drink. I drink when I am doing house chores or yard work. usually if I drink beer it is from about 2 in the after noon to dinner time. Then I either cook or my wife does. We watch TV and go to bed.Getting too old for the late night stuff. Depending on the amount of time off I have in any given week, I might do this 3 times. I am retired and only work about 30 hours a week at another job

That depends on what " quite often" means. I consider myself a social drinker. I rarely drink alone in my home or anywhere else.. When i go out, usually every other Thursday, I drink a full bottle of red wine... I don't get that drunk because I always have a nice dinner along with the wine.

I don't drink. Not because I'm straight-edge or anything, I just don't like the taste of alcohol.
