(Rom 10:17 KJV) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
To maintain strong faith a person needs to spend time in the word of God. The more time spent in the word the stronger the faith. God expects us to be doers of the word and that takes time in the word. Believers can lay hands on the sick and they shall recover, but once again that takes time in the word.

Your question is genuine. As an intellectual being, we often seek proof and not just blind faith. Take the eg. of Qureshi (Waco, texas). People believed in him blindly. If we continue to believe blindly, then we either become fanatics or eventually loose faith.
On the other hand, if we start to question everything we could possibly end up agnostic / atheist.
True faith begins with proof of Gods existence. Until then, what we have is a conviction or certitude of some sort. No matter how great that conviction is, it is not faith.
Take the eg. of Peter. He was walking on water and then had doubts and he immediately started to sink. Jesus protested him and then said, Oh ye men of little faith! Remember, this was Peter, who had witnessed countless miracles performed by Jesus. So, in reality to have that kind of unshakeable faith is rare.
It is true that listening to the word of God brings Faith. Jesus came back 2000 years ago even after being crucified. Is there any reason why he cant come back now? True progress in religion is not in just reading books but is in having actual contact with God.
There have been great Saints, who have done that. Saint Francis, Saint Theresa of Avilia etc.
I am unable to communicate more, for it is not my place to bring controversies or hurt the feelings or beliefs or convictions of others. May God bless us all!

The Bible tells us that "Faith follows the thing heard", therefore we need to hear God's word. This can only come from reading the Bible. Along with reading the Bible it is good to do research into things that seem to contradict or things that are difficult to understand, as these things can undermine our faith. It is not wrong for us to ask question. A faith that has no roots (knowledge and understanding) is quickly blown away, but if you have proved it to yourself your faith is more sure. This is not saying that we shouldn't just accept some things on faith, as we know our Creator is wiser than we are. But knowledge leads to Life. In John 17:3 Jesus said "THIS means everlasting life, Their TAKING IN KNOWLEDGE of you the Only True God, and of the one whom you sent forth Jesus Christ". That way if we have accurate knowledge we will be able to discern true from false religious teaching and conduct. Also don't forget to prayer for God's direction. Hope this helps.

When you have a spiritual problem, needs to be resolved spiritually. What a wonderful saviour we have in the Lord Jesus..
Recall how Peter challenged the Lord, 'If it is you, Lord, bid me to come to you on the water.' When Peter's "faith" failed him it was the Lord who stretched out his hand and lifted him up out of the water.
The Lord also instructed his apostles to establish communities. Churches then, for all their faults and shortcomings, are the Lord's idea for instruction, encouragement, support, fellowship, and even at times discipline.
A Christian out of church is like a burning coal isolated from a fire.- it will cease to burn. Like a fish out of water - it will cease to live.
You will find no greater encouragement for your Christian life than the presence of other Christians. You are not the first Christian to have this problem, and it probably won't be the last to happen in your life. (I'd love to be proved wrong)
H Twells (1823-1900) penned a hymn, 'At even when the sun did set' which is worth reading (or singing if you know the tune)
Reading the Bible and Praying are not necessarily easy things to do, so don't underestimate the task. I once met a Jew who told me that the scriptures were like crude oil. Oil has to be 'cracked'. The scriptures don't yield their treasures without effort. However, it is easier for us than for him, because the scriptures speak to us of Christ.
Praying is not so much the recital of platitudes but more a way of living. Otherwise why would the Apostle exhort us to 'pray without ceasing'?
You are redeemed. You have been purchased, not by corruptible silver or gold, but by precious blood. You are Christ's by right of purchase. Although we are slaves God treats us like sons in the same way as David treated Mephibosheth, and for your encouragement read in Ephesians all the treasures that are ours in Christ.

when I found out (i'm nonetheless discovering it) that faith is grown in trials and resign to God, and accepting each and every thing that includes me as for my solid. it is been much less stressful to bypass by way of problems, or maybe to obtain them with excitement. A learn of Hebrews the e book of religion has been a super element for me. "The Christian could desire to study and seek the Scriptures to boost his know-how. For this purpose he on a daily basis reads quite a number of vital parts. yet he reads the Scriptures additionally to reinforce his faith. And to this end he could desire to take one or 2 verses to cause them to the priority of specific pondered photograph, and to perfect them trustfully for himself. Pray, do no longer go through yourselves to be led off track via people who talk as though faith have been something super and unintelligible. faith isn't something different than the actuality that God speaks reality. Take some can provide of God and say to Him: i be responsive to for specific that this promise is reality, and which you will fulfill it. he will do it. not at all mourn over unbelief as though it have been basically a weak point which you will no longer help. As God's new child, besides the undeniable fact that susceptible you are going to be, you have the potential to believe, for the spirit of God is in you. you have basically to undergo in suggestions this: no person apprehends something till now that he has the potential to believe; he could desire to easily initiate and proceed with asserting to the Lord that he's helpful that His word is reality. He could desire to hold rapid the promise and remember upon God for the fulfillment." —New lifestyles, The Andrew Murray

it seems like you have a twitch in your finger because you said "&&" and "upp" and especially "????"
anyways, read the bible everyday and pray every day. if you don't feel like it then do it anyway. if you don't have the time then make time. discipline yourself on it.
second of all pray to god about it (novel idea, huh?) . re submit to him and drop anything that might keep you from him.

So..if you don't even devote yourself to your belief, why do you preach off to others? Instead of annoying everyone and bad talking them, go read your Bible instead.
