Yes. I've arrested several police officers in my career. Two for DUI, one for domestic violence, and one for selling drugs.

Not only can he arrest another cop, it is his duty as an officer to uphold the law not matter who the person it is. Question is will he knowing that other officers including the perpetrators partner and fellow officers will make life very difficult for the arresting officer. In a case like this he may choose not to serve an arrest but he could go to internal affairs division and they will handle an investigation into the officers activities. Hope this helps

Yes, though normally investigations of other police officers are handled by special departments (internal affairs).
But a police officer can arrest anyone who is violating relevant laws, whether or not the person breaking the law is another cop.

Yeah but you would want to have others around who can be good witnesses. Good luck if your the one going to arrest another cop... well I guess your not the one cause a cop should know this. But what ever.

Definitely. There was one case a few weeks ago in the city where I work. One police officer had been caught having inappropriate relations with a 15-year-old boy. He was arrested by his own department.
