Study your Bible. Trace the people from Genesis to present allowing for a 400 year gap between the OT and the NT. I've done it.

Why would you want to prove that it is some certain number of years, wouldn't you rather figure out what it actually is? That is not the way to find the truth. It's almost as ridiculous as saying how can I prove that the earth is only 3 years old. If you set down the timescale of the objectively considered age of the earth these two (6,000 and 3) would probably be very close to each other.

Like for example take a piece of printing paper(8.5 by 11).
The earth's estimated age: 4.5 billion years
Say the 0-11 inches is the timescale of the earth's age. 3 years would be .000000006 inches and 6,000 would be .0000147 inches.

both less than a 32nd of an inch on that piece of paper (less than half the distance between the smallest marks on a ordinary ruler). Of course if the scale were larger you could see the difference but it's still absurd. People don't throw these figures around for fun, people spend their lives trying to find the truth and religiosity stands in the way a lot.

The only way I know is- add up the genealogies in Genesis 5 and 11. That takes you from creation all the way up to Jacob, and is accurate to within 1 calendar year. Then look back in secular history from today back to Jacob. Add the two together-and you come up with about 6230 years, +/- ~75 years. Some historians will argue the date of Jacobs life as much as 150 years.

You can't, because it isn't 6000 years old.
The Bible DOES NOT state this earth is
6000 years old. Scripture says that there was an entire earth age before this one we live in now.
You will find the three earth ages recorded in 2peter, chapter 3.

The same way you'd prove that the Earth is flat, and the Sun goes round it.

Are you sure its not 6002 and not 6000? Its sort of hard to tell the difference. I dont think it looks a day over 5999.

Honestly, I dont think God wants us spending all that much time debating how old the earth is. I am sure there are much better issues for you and me to be concerned with. Try loving your neighbor, try doing good, try praying for our leaders, try giving to those in need.

Explain how the earth formed, life began, dinasours, adam and Eve, Noah, flood, rebirth of the world, to the point of "Jesus" 2000 years ago, all in 6000 years.

The earth is 6000 years old like I am 20 years old. Possibly just add a few billion years and you will be pretty close.

I don't know how you could do it, but if you did you'd win the Nobel prize for standing all scientific theories in astronomy, biology, geology, archaeology and a number of other disciplines on their collective ears.
