No need to be nervous. You will get your weight, height temperature, blood pressure and reflexes checked. The doctor will listen to your heart and lungs. Probably look in your throat, eyes and ears, maybe at your hands and nails. Doc may or may not look for suspicious moles. There may be a little blood work to check for iron or cholesterol levels. The doctor may decide to take a urine sample, but that's not the general rule. Males will often have the prostate checked and females will probably have a breast palpation.
It will be a good time to ask any questions or mention any symptoms that you may have. If the doctor sees something, or the blood work comes back suspicious, you will be referred to a specialist.
In short, don't fret it. You won't get a barium enema.

Assuming you are seeing a general practitioner here is what to expect.
You will be expected to fill out a complete medical history and list all the medications you are taking.
blood pressure check, pulse, temperature (maybe), weight. listen to your heart, listen to your lungs, look in your throat, palpitate your abdomen and liver, check you eyes, motor skills. Chest x-ray (maybe), EKG ( if u are over a certain age)
Doctor will ask how you feel, do you have any complaints? etc.
Lastly a technician will draw your blood for routine blood tests. If you

properly often they are going to easily initiate out with the standard issues with checking your coronary heart value and eveything. they are going to ask you approximately if u have had any problems recentally. Tjemthey could have u take ur blouse off and that they are going to sense around your stomachs and stuff. Then they could have u take off your pants and that they are going to grab ur balls and characteristic u turn your head and caugh. Then counting on how previous you're they could do a prostate examination the place they sense around in ur butt. So ya that what they are going to do and it will sense weird and wonderful even though it is not something to be worried approximately I even have been via it some situations

Height, weight, pulse, blood pressure...
They ask about what ails you and for how long...listen to your heart and chest cavity from front and back.
They test reflexes.
They take blood, and send it to a lab based on family history you relate to the doctor, as well as what you now indicates bothers you.
Th th that's all folks...for a basic test.

i guess it depends on how old you are. Of course they're going to check your eyes, ears, nose, throat, height, weight, blood pressure...all that. If you don't have all your shots up to date, you might get one of those. If you are sexually active, they might give you a pap smear, meaning that they will manually check your vagina and cervix as well as swab it (like for Strep throat) just to make sure everything is healthy in there. It doesn't hurt though, at least it didn't for me. If you're in your 20's, they will probably give you a breast exam, just by massaging your breast and checking for lumps.

typically, for a woman, it's weight, blood work (which you may or may not do at the office), breast exam, pap smear, blood pressure, check your height, general questions - how are you feeling, anything going on you have questions about... etc. check your reflexes, that's about it. Nothing to be concerned about, very normal things.

Depending on your age. Most likely, they will look into your ears, your mouth, check your heart rate, listen to your chest, tap you on your stomach areas to see if anything hurts.
