Experts tricked for 40 years.
In 1912, Arthur Woodward announced to the world that he had found the missing link. PILTDOWN MAN, AS HE CALLED IT, CONSISTED OF A JAW BONE AND A PIECE OF SKULL WHICH HE ESTIMATED TO BE OVER 500,000 YEARS OLD! HOWEVER, IN 1953, WHEN THE NEW FLOURIDE DATING PROCESS WAS APPLIED TO THE BONES, SCIENTIST WERE SHOCKED TO LEARN THAT THE JAW BONE WAS LESS THAN 50 YEARS OLD. ONLY DID THEY NOTICE THAT THE BONES AND TEETH HAD BEEN TREATED WITH SALTS AND FILED TO MAKE THEM APPEAR OLD AND PRIMITIVE. In other words, Piltdown man was a complete fraud. Take note Bible student! The worlds foremost scientific experts had been fooled for over 40 years!
For almost half a century, evolutionists pushed Piltdown man in the faces of the Bible believers as scientific proof we evolved from apes. Some proof! Sounds typical of someone that does not want to be liable to a God. Or to take responsibiltiy for his own eternal existence.

To the statement Christians have been fooled for 2000 years, not. What do you believe/ there is a reason why the Bible has more followers and more book sold than any other belief system in the world, AND IT IS NOT BECAUSE THEY GOT FOOLED FOOL. Examine . Where does your belief stand in statistics, because statistics is a major form of proof. Evolution does not compare to the Bible. And besides science facts support Biblical truths. Science theory does not. And there is a difference in theory and fact in science. The terminology should tell you that. Just because scientist admitted the error of there way does not dismiss the bias of there thinking and the accuracy of their methods.
Besides this is not just one of the things that scientist did wrong, it was pushed and pushed and pushed and pushed as fact. So that in itself discredits big time
And when you are found out what else can you do but apologize. Or continue denying the truth like you do now.

The 1953 fluoride testing WAS science - it's an example of science continually reevaluating itself. Why is science only valid to you when it fits your cause?
volution was and is a valid scientific theory; Woodward is irrelevant.
Or to put it another way: By your logic, one speaking for all automatically represents the entirety. So all of Hal Linday's apocalypse predictions from the 1970s mean that Christianity itself is discredited.
(Lindsay predicted in thourough detail about how Revelations was defintiely going to play out in the 1980s/1990s. He was 1000 percent wrong).

Gosh! you found a 50 year old fraud.
And this information actually gives credence to the people that study evolution. A mistake was found,it was publicized and corrected. This shows the altruism of science. Do you think religious leaders would behave the same way if something in their religion was found to be fraudulent or false,I don't think so.They refuse to even acknowledge archaeological finds that may refute their belief system.

Scientists are certainly capable of mistakes.
But science has advanced a lot since 1912.
Do you really think that disproving one piece of scientific beliefs from fifty years ago disproves the entirety of evolution? If you can disprove every single fossil out there, then maybe I'll start to believe in a god, but there's no guarantee that it would be your god, anyway.

"Oh God, please grant you're followers the wisdom to the error in their beliefs... and save ME from THEM!" I'm am utterly flabbergasted (first time I ever used that in a sentence) that you would pull up something like that to refute evolutionary theory. It's old, and scientist acknowledge that it's fraudulent! You Bible thumpers continue to deny science and it's progresses, while taking it's benefits and disregarding what may conflict with your belief. Well, I should'nt be surprised. you pick and choose parts in the Bible to suit your needs, so why not science?

What is your point? This was scam perpetuated for particular reasons. This is by no means a one off and has no bearing on facts.
I'd rather believe evolution than the fairy stories in the bible.

"Take note Bible student! The worlds foremost scientific experts had been fooled for over 40 years!"
Er, those "Bible students" have been fooled for 2000 years.
The scientists, unlike the religious folks, discovered and admitted to their error.
Advantage: evolutionary science.

Er, Mr Know-it-All, did you realize that you're babbling incoherently?
Did you notice that my writing, on the other hand, is coherent and sensible?
Of course you didn't know this, but in fact I've taught statistics for 20 years. I hardly need to pay attention to comments about that topic from a person who can't seem to put together a coherent thought.
Kid, you're in way over your head.
Advantage: Paul S.

And your point is??? There have been far more frauds perpetrated in the field of art than in the field of science. Does this invalidate all of classical art??
