I am not christian, but let me ask this...About 20 years ago, a new chiropractor moved into a town about 30 miles away from us. He had no office. People would call him, he would go to their house, and after no more than 2 visits, they were cured of all back pain. He charged NOTHING for this service, other than to give you a brief (5min) shpeel about God's love, and ask you to spread the word. I can deal with that. However, the local christian chiropracters, working with the cities christian lawmakers, found a reason to run him out of town. Is this how the Christians famed Jesus would be treated if he were to return as they predict? By the way, he was run out of town because of unfair business practices.(he didn't charge anything, and therefore it was unfair to the other chiropracters.)
*True story!*

London girl,
I never said I didn't care about any religion or that I didn't believe in God. I just don't follow the christian God. Don't be like that. I'm trying to be polite here.

Can't serve 2 Masters. God & money.
I am a Christian and firmly believe that if Jesus came the same way as he did the first time, many who profess to be "Christians" would be the first in line yelling "crucify him" because of his words and actions.

Mark my words. In the near future, the world, along with "religious Christians" will be first in line wanting to kill the true followers of Christ because they are doing exactly as the one you described in your post.

How sad that others condemed this man for doing a free service. I suppose he was taking away custmers that otherwise would have to pay for chiropractic service which can be really expensive if you don't have insurance. Or maybe this man did not have a legal license to be a chiropracter. Anyway as a christian I hope I will live to see the day Jesus comes back to earth.

That's a real interesting story and I believe it. Isn't it sad that when someone shows others up my their kindness others hate it. It reminds me of Cain and Abel, the Bible said that Cain hated Abel "cause his own works were bad", so Cain killed Abel rather than lift his own act...typical! Yes they hated Jesus then cause he exposed their religious hypocrisy at the time, how would it be any different today? Infact the Bible tells us about Jesus' cousin John the Baptiser who didn't drink and they picked on him cause of that. Jesus did drink and eat with people of all walks and they called him a "drunkard and a glutton". So doomed if you do, doomed if you don't. Jesus has followers on earth today that strictly adhere to his lifestyle in morals, congregational matters and the preaching of God's Word. They don't involve themselves in politics, they will not rip anyone off, they do all their Christian work voluntary. They are not rude, they will not under any circustances take anothers life, rather they in many countries are sitting in prison rather than take arms to anyone, some are even put to death! Jesus said his true followers would be "objects of hatred by all nations" (Matthew 24:9) and also he said that "a slave is not greater than his master. IIf they persected me, they will persecute you also, if they have observed my word, they will observe yours also." So I guess it comes down to the individual. Like most people in Jesus time, the rulers didn't want him they believed he was trying to usurp their authority and the people didn't want to change their lives or be told that they were living wrong or against God's standards. Nothing's changed today, but God's servants are still trying to help people understand God's wonderful purpose for the earth and how Jesus Kingship affects them. They just slam the door and say "I'm not interested." You know it's sad cause they really don't know what their NOT interested in. It's actually their life!
By the way Jehovah's witness preach in every country on earth. Even to the remote tribal groups, we have people that have learned other languages and also sign language to help the deaf and provisions to help the blind and infirmed. God's love extends to even the minority groups earthwide, the impoverished and the ones man looks down on. Isn't this what we would expect of God, that his love would extend over national, racial and class boundaries. I'm so glad to be part of an organisation that knows no boundaries.

We live in a material world, very material. Without proof, I mean 100% proof that the man was Jesus reborn, he would be labeled a heritic, shunned and ridiculed. The church would investigate the "miracles" and their politics would be the final answer. Even if they would announce his second coming, not everyone believes in Jesus so people would avoid him or come to see him for a show. Think of a circus attraction. There are still others, (we call them looneys), that will seek to prove that it is Jesus by killing him and having him rise from the dead. Then there will be the scientists that will be trying to get samples for one test or another. In other words the world would polarize. Lots of people dead, dying and upset. In other words, chaos.

Honestly, if Jesus was the one to come back, I think he'd leave most of his "followers" and take all the good people across the world who has genuine love for God, Christian or not.

jesus is in all of us as it god - some people are just more in touch with it.

we are all capable of great good - a few really bad people have a really bad effect on people - that is because people do not speak up.

people should not have allowed him to be run out of town. good people are cut down often due to lack of faith in people who do not speak up.

i am not a christian - but i do understand your question.

I don't think Jesus will be too happy when He comes back. Those who are truly in Christ today are usually treated just as He was. The good news is that if we are in Him we will also rise just as He did.

If Jesus were to come back, clearly he would be appalled by 99.999 percent of those who claim to follow him.

nor would the most "devout" recognize him - the televangelists and their ilk would be the first to take a swing at him.
