Astronaut and looks have nothing to do with each other. Being able to see is a requirement though. You must have 20/20 vision. You need to study lots of Math, Science, and make sure that you excel in both in your class. After that, I would rather than go to college, join up with the Air Force and log several hours of flight time, as well as get a college degree soon after. Preferably an engineering degree or get into medicine and see if you can get some sort of biological experiment launched into space.

well, if youre looking to be an astronaut only because youre pretty, try being an actress and playing an astronaut. i dont think NASA needs a pretty face.

Wtf?What does being pretty have to do with being an astronaut? That just spells stupid,vein,snob,and when you're an astronaut sometimes it involves math and big words,and actually rubbing two brain cells together.I wouldn't want you to hurt your little head.

looks have nothing to do with it.
you have to be trained physically, mentally, and emotionally. you have to study HARD--physics, biology, aerospace engineering, astronomy, etc. you really have to know your stuff. if it's what you want to do, great; but don't expect to have any advantages just because you're pretty.
