I'm sure it won't cost less than 40 dollars, because they usually come in packs. As in, more than just one shot at one time. The vet will tell you how old she is, but it is only a guess. They are usually pretty close, though. Congratulations on your new puppy and I'm sure she is pretty.

It really depends on what vet office and stores you go to for the price. I live way on the west coast, so that's far away from you. I'm going to get a puppy, but I need money for the shots first, and puppy supplies. Here, shots are about $130, and puppy supplies will probably be an estimated $50-120 dollars. (for you) Now, if you want to know how old your dog is, here is what you can do: Since dogs have seven birthdays each year, you times how many years (or weeks, but you'd have to do it a different way) you've had your dog by seven. It works easier if you've had your dog for +1 years. Or, you can ask the previous owner/take your dog to the vet. They should tell you. I really hope I've helped. Also, may I suggest giving your puppy Purina Puppy Chow? I've heard it gives your puppy +2 years. Good luck. =)

The price depends on which vet you go to. I work at a vet clinic and we charge $70 for their first puppy shots and exam; and then they come to come back two more times and get boosters. But there are also other things that you can get on your first visit, like a toothbrush, toothpaste, Frontine (if they are old enough), treats, and puppy food. And all that adds up in one visit to the vet and can get pretty expensive. As to determining you puppy's age the vet can tell you. She will look at how developed her teeth are and her toe nails having in consideration your dog's breed. When you go in for your first visit you should ask the vet and she should be able to tell you.

The vet can tell you an aprox. age by looking at her teeth.

She will need (if she's 16 weeks or older) two sets of shots...(more if she is younger):

DHLP-P (distemper/parvo combo) $35
Rabies $20
Deworm $10-20

-Repeat the DHLP-P in 3-4 weeks.
-Ask about heartworm/prevention : test $35, Preventative $40/6 mos supply.
-Flea/Tick prevention $70-90 for 6 month supply
