While they aren't exactly prim and proper, now we're gonna start blaming more stuff outside of our control for our society's bad behavior? What ever happened to teaching your children what's right and what's wrong? And My God does not put people in hell for all time. We really need to see that God is Infinite in His love, forgiveness, and understanding. The only thing or essence that is going to hell forever is pure evil! Not those of us who do our best, and still fail. For that is the very nature of man. We make mistakes, sometimes huge ones!
Sometimes we can't back away from them as they are in the past and cannot be changed. Give God His Props!
Blessed Be

Only the unclean ones. Away from God's Grace. Not into hell. And Yes, Brainwash into thinking Evil is Good. But, not forever, you can get out of it. The Clean kind of entertainment is OK

The devil uses a lot of tactics, but his best is our own selves. We want what we want, no matter what, all he needs to do is make sure we have plenty of distractions, then we will do the rest. That is why people are referred to as sheep, waiting for someone to lead, most choose the wrong leader, the gate and path are narrow.

I don't think it has anything to do with the Devil, but I do see where you're going with this. If all you see is violence then you're bound to imitate it. So putting the ideas of G-d and the Devil aside, yeah, they can influence weak minded people to do something or believe something is okay because they have been desensitized.

World War II was fought largely to the tune of love songs and polkas. No video games in sight. On the other hand, Hitler was a Christian.
The Thirty Years' War and the Crusades were well before Doom and Wolfenstien 3D.
The Inquisition was before Slayer and Metallica.
Just a few observations through Atheist eyes.

Uh, the other day I non-stoped watched a british crime show about serial killers called "Wire in the Blood." Like for two days straight I watched these graphic t.v. shows of rape and murder. I left more disgusted with murder then I did before I went into it. So if it's the devils work, he's doing a pretty poor *** job.
Plus the character made a pretty good point, "What t.v. show did Jack the Ripper watch?" People who do bad things have psychosis.

No..but I think if there is a Devil, the Bible and the forming of religion would be a pretty good way to lure people and make them fall.

I don't believe God does not want us to be happy or joyful. He wantes us to live a good fun joyful life. So in turn what about the Christian rock bands that reach so many people through music. What about the movies that touch us in our hearts and souls and hold our attention and entertain us. What about the innocent non-violent games that brings family and friends together for a fun afternoon of fellowship and community. Please don't stereo-type because it is not fair.
