Okay now I do not want any answers like ghosts are not real they are demons sent from hell in disguise to decieve us. I know that theory already.

I ask because I am a Ghost Hunter/Paranormal Investigator and I see many people who join in the search for Ghosts. Some who I know personally do this secretly due to their church doctrine.

Every single church I ever attended said they do not exist.

If you are a Christian an do belive that sometimes people stick around as a ghost, please state your church prefrence like Baptist etc.

Also tell me if your church would approve or disprove. Please if you don't mind.

I know many will go ahead and tell me they are demons, but that is not my question. I want to hear from Christians who believe ghosts are real and not a threat to us.

Oh come on people surely there are Christians here who believe. I know because I can't go ghost hunting without them being in the majority and on ghost groups they tend to be the majority.

Theopolus, I know what Baptist believe. I was raised Missionary and joined the Southern Baptist church in 1966. Those Christians who are the majority in ghost groups and hunts are mostly Baptist. It seems to me Baptist believe what they want regardless of thier church doctrine I base my opinion on expereince with going to these churches and knowing many, many, many Baptists.

I should have added no holy ghost answers, this is ridulas. You who have answerd like that knw full well what I meant quit being obnoxous.

When I saw my first ghost in 1972, my dad would say I believe in the holy ghost hahahaha.Very stupid answer. People who insist on calling the Holy Spirit the Holy Ghost irk me. Sorry but they do the Holy spirit is only called the Holy Gost in the JK version or similar versions . The greek word is not the greek word for ghost this is spirit of a dead person.

As a Baptist and a former Catholic I know that my churches do not support the idea of ghost but I must say the older I get the more I believe they do exist. What I do not believe is that they are evil. I think often a person from the other side simply wants to "keep an eye" on their loved ones or family. If Satan can send demons from Hell then why would it be hard to believe that God would allow good people to also have a presence. I have seen my father three times since he passed away six years ago. And I know many others who have seen loved ones after they have passed on

I am a christian (baptist) and I very much believe in ghost. I am currently writing a book on personal experiences and pics. I am also looking for a paranormal group to joined, but there are not many where I live. I am slap dab in the middle of the Bible Belt and have heard all my life that there is no such things as ghost. By writing my book and joining the effort to search for ghost will by no means keep me out of Heaven!!! If you have any stories or suggestions for me I would love to hear them!!!!!!!!

Well, I don't know if this answer will be acceptable or not, but allow me to answer anyway.

I am a Christian, and attend a pentecostal church. But I live in a very old house (between 120-180 years old). Old enough that the bathroom was added on after the house was built because bathrooms were not commonplace in a log cabin.

We have had certain presences in our house since we moved in, or at least since we dug up part of our dirt cellar. My daughter has seen them and states that we have an older woman, a soldier and a girl who looked like the girl in the movie, "The Ring" (our daughter saw the apparition before she ever saw the movie and it freaked her out).

Fortunately, they have never been harmful to us, even though my daughter hates sleeping in her bedroom at night because of the noises. She also has had problems when trying to read her Bible in her room. When she opens it to read, she hears sounds on her walls, which stop when she puts down her Bible.

I do know that my church probably would not approve, but I'm not sure how to get them to leave at this point.

If they are not demonic in nature, why would they be disturbed by Bible Reading?

I do. I am a Christian who grew up in the Methodist Church but have attended both Baptist and Presbyterian Churhces. Currently I attend a non-denominational church.

I have not ever seen a ghost. However, my twin sister (deceased for 16 years) and I were telepathic. She has come to me in my dreams to talk with me. I know this is not the same thing, but still....I believe.

Some people in my church would disapprove and say I am nuts. Others would not.

I don't think they are a threat at all.

I think God opens a door so that we might communicate with our loved ones....gohsts.

Thanks for the very cool question. Good luck to you in your investigations.

Yes. The Bible states that the Spirit of God is the Holy Ghost. I, like you, am also a ghost hunter. I do my best to search out what the Holy Ghost is doing that I may be a part of it.

How approximately "Why do human beings butt in on the communications of others" a million. Rudeness 2. Inflammatory/ridiculous comments, perceived or unquestionably. 3. Ambush question designed for same. occasion: "Christians: while will Atheists provide up ingesting their youthful?" it somewhat is frequently very disingenuous to declare the least. Which type is the meant recipient of your (question?) ultimately: "some questions prefer the suited religious & philosophical outlook of atheists & are so directed at them. Why would desire to christians constantly answer with issues like Jesus' blood?" Quid professional quo? you may set up a greater controlled ecosystem you recognize. Why do not you in spite of if it somewhat is that vast of an argument?

I have seen a ghost and since then have "ghost hunted". I've taken a few really good pictures. It's one of the many reasons I gave up on chrisitanity.

I never have seen one myself but I believe there are things in the spiritual realm that cannot even being to fathom.

I don't believe we have a complete understanding of the dead.

I am christian but I don't adhere to a particular denomination.

No I do not. I have had so many demonic things happend to me that I shall keep to myself becasue you willnot believe me anyway, but as soon as I rebuked them in the name of Jesus they left. satan and his deminions tremble at the name of Jesus. I were harrased more by them when I became a brand new chtistian. I have been puched in the head by them, woken up with bruises I never had before, and I showed them to a church who prayer for me, I have been leavitated of my bed, quilt pulled of me and that is not even half. I heard an adutable vioce not in my head but in my room bit satan was invisable and said "Do not preach the bible" I have had very satanic dreams, worse than nightmares. I will not get into anymore becasue I do nto watn to focas on the enemy. I want to focus on Jesus. So I will leave it at that. But all I wil say is that I am not making this up.
