They are getting hard to find, I know. Nikon and Canon are still in the market, though.
Many of us trust and recommend B&H Photo. I have been using them for many years without a single problem. B&H Photo is available through a link at Yahoo! Shopping, www.bhphoto.com or at 1-800-622-4987. See also http://www.resellerratings.com/store/B_H_Photo_Video_Pro_Audio
Beach Camera is another excellent company.

If you don't know much about cameras, don't go buying a SLR until you have had a go with one and know it is what you ant. Find a local photography club and ask them for advice or if you can come along and get some help. If you can't find one, there are photography sites on Facebook and I am sure someone would be prepared to help you there. As for shops, Jessops is good if you KNOW what you want, because the guys in there are far too often sals monkeys and know nothing about photography. Jacobs is good if you don't know what you want, because their sales staff are far more helpful and knowledgeable. However, online, B&H is fine. Funnily enough, I bought my ast one in Curry's (which I would never do), but it was at Gatwick airport and I got it tax free.

Try www.bhphoto.com. Do you want an SLR or a point & shoot? Nikon is only making their flagship F6, and the FM10 (actually made by Cosina) but I think there are a few older models in stock, the F100 for one, for at least a little while longer.
I think Canon is still making a film p&s Sureshot, may be called the 180 au zoom or something similar. Hopefully Olympus is still making the Stylus Epic, a great little camera with a great little lens. Canon is still making a film Rebel SLR.

I know Nikon are still selling four film bodies, F6, F100, F75 and FM10. This range covers their last top end professional camera (F6) through two very competent lower range bodies to the entry level manual everything FM10. Whether these are available on-line is another matter.
Enjoy the hunt.
