Make a paste of some baking soda and water and leave on sting for 5-10 minutes then rinse off. That has always helped me when I get a sting. It makes it hurt less, brings down the swelling and if it itches later, the itching is less. If it stays swollen or the bump gets bigger, go see a doctor in case it is infected.

Oh dear!

My husband got stung thrice about a week ago. What I did was mix together baking soda, salt, and cornmeal. And I made a paste with that and vinegar, and put it on the stings. About an hour later, you wouldn't have known anything had happened.

Bicarb for bees actually- vinegar for wasps. Ensure you have removed the sting from skin- you can usually see it prodtruding. You could also take an antihistimane table such as piriton to ease the pain and cut the risk of allergic reaction.

Make mud if you can, put it on the bite and let it dry, it is supposed to draw the stinger out as it dries and cure your bee sting!
I have also used the aveeno oat bath and made a paste and put it on and let it dry, my son said it felt better.
You can also go with the otc creams ie. Lanacaine, benadryl etc...

Unseasoned meat tenderizer helps.
Also, aspirin and water. (Crush aspirin into powder, add a drop of water to make a paste, put on sting.)
