the hemi with 20 inch wheels 4x4 how good are they off road...how deep mud can they take

They are good offroad, but don't let the tire size make you think they are higher off the ground.
In the example cited by anthony-wheeler the difference in ground clearance is 1.16 inches.

but, i have a 2001 ram and it has 16 inch rims and has 285/75/16 and it does really well of road.

so you'd think a truck with 265/70/20 would have more ground clearence and they have a bigger engine than mine.

i got my truck stuck in about 7 inches of mud...so, i'd say about 7 inches of mud. there was about 2 feet of standing water covering the mud though

Excellent off road, go to dodgeforum.com and look at the 3rd gen ram section. There are plenty of people that have taken theirs off road. Good luck and nice truck!

those are nice trucks but i don't know anyone who has invested that much money in one,and took it out and done that with it,they cost too much now days to abuse them,good luck.
