The statistics say that 10 out of 10 people die. It’s true – we all have an appointment with death. A question each of us should ask is “What happens after I die?” The Bible says that God has a standard that he will judge you by on your appointed day of death. It’s called the Ten Commandments. Let’s see how you will do. Have you ever told a lie? (Including white lies and fibs) Have you ever stolen anything? (no matter the value) The third Commandment is “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain”. Have you ever used His name as a curse word to express disgust? The seventh Commandment is “You shall not commit adultery”, but Jesus said “If you look upon a woman to lust after her you’ve already committed adultery with her in your heart”. Have you ever looked at another person with lust or desire? If you said 'yes' to these four questions, then by your own admission you’re a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer-at-heart, and we’ve only looked at four of the Ten Commandments. On Judgment Day, if God were to judge you by those standards, would you be innocent or guilty? Would you go to Heaven or Hell?

The Bible says that you would be guilty, that means hell. Know that God, the just judge of the universe, is also rich in mercy. He sent His Son Jesus to suffer and die on the cross on your behalf to take the punishment for your sins. He paid your fine with His life's blood. That means God can commute your death sentence. He can allow you to live because of what Jesus did on the cross. Through His death and resurrection, God can now dismiss your case. He can forgive your sins and allow you to live. So what must you do? You must repent - turn from your sins. Don't just confess your sins to God; confess and forsake them. Don't just believe in Jesus - trust in Him, like you would trust in a parachute to save you. You don't just believe in a parachute, you put your trust into it! That's what you must do with the savior.

What's it with answering your own question? If you want to make a point . .. well you could put up a web site, or mass email your remarks to groups or newsgroups or whatever.

Anyway, the wages of sin are death, GOD forgives the repentant sinner. Being forgiven much they are very grateful. JESUS came to save sinners, know you are a sinner and repent, do not be proud. Do not come before the LORD saying "Look at all the good i have done" say, "I am sorry for my sin, forgive me LORD and do with me as you will." If you come boasting in your own glory then of course yo uare not repenting . .. to these the LORD will say, "I never knew you" but to the humble and repentant heart, who comes as a little child sorry for their sins JESUS certainly will not turn them away . ..

GOD is just and good . . . GOD is righteous and merciful . .. GOD will forgive the repentant and have justice for the unrepentant . ..

Pride is one of the seven deadly sins and keeps us from repenting . .. humility is the antithesis of pride which helps us see we are not worthy and must repent rather than boast . ..

LOVE your neighbor as yourself
Amen.

God is love, but he is also holy and just. He cannot allow unrepentant sinners to get away with their sins. On the Day of Judgment all people will have to face the Creator. There are only two ways: heaven or hell. Those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will enter heaven and those that refused Jesus Christ will have their sins remain on them and will be thrown into hell. There is no contradiction between God's love and God's righteousness. That is just a false dichotomy.

whilst NT says words like 'eternal' and 'punishment' the main suitable translation from Greek helps a Universalist place on salvation, no longer Hell hearth damnation: * 'eternal' = for a constrained yet unspecified time (ie has ending) * 'punishment' = chastening or correction those words relate to human beings receiving a divine 'wake-up' call the place they're disciplined or corrected like a tricky, loving determine chastises a baby. The Church translated those words in a warped thank you to maintain worried obedience from dedicated human beings. Reincarnation became into an unwelcome concept to the Church hierarchy. Universalism skill everyones stored with the aid of Christ and merely desires to grow to be attentive to this. What Hell hearth preachers prefer human beings to think of is extremely an significant distortion of Bible translation into English. in spite of the shown fact that, I no longer settle for the Bible or Christianity yet concept i could factor out a debatable point of view the place English translation with the aid of the Church became into manipulated to regulate human beings. REINCARNATION became into nevertheless portion of Christianity till outlawed with the aid of the 5th Ecumenical Council of 553 advert in Constantinople.

If an all loving God could do that to his children, what would an all hating God do?Yes, we must all learn lessons before we are to enter 'heaven', but the God of my understanding gives us as many life experiences as necessary to reach that spiritual level. Some people enter sooner than others depending how they live their lives.a person like Hitler may have to go through a thousand experiences to finally come to recognize the spiritual truth. The reward to 'good' people is they get there sooner. The punishment to 'bad' people is they have to keep repeating the lesson til they get it right.Having to repeat something over and over, repetition, is hell and it can go on for eternity if we decide not accept Jesus's spiritual truth on how to live our life and be saved.Doesn't that sound more like a loving and just God.?

I totally believe that Jesus Christ died for my sins and that I will go to heaven when I leave this earth. He is my Lord and Savior. I also do not believe in an eternal burning hell. Christ died for the sins of the whole world. All will come to Him someday, sometime , someway. God is unconditional love and love never fails. Some would and have said I am not a Christian for believing this way. I choose not to limit the love of God. He is reconciling the world to Himself through Jesus Christ/.

Yes I do get this, but didnt for years, and I think many are confused about it and see that how can God be a good God and do this. What they dont realize is this, God doesnt do it HE gives us all a certain measure of faith and its up to us whether we learn more or ignore what He gave us. ITs all about free will and choice. God doesnt make mindless robots and force them to love Him He gives us a choice, and one day we will be in heaven, tjhose who do love and obey Him, and it will be wondeful, no more sin, sorrow , sickness or pain. Cnat imagine anyone pciking any other palce to end up. But there is a hell, God tells us what to do to avoid it and what to do to go to Heaven. we all have a chance to get a Bible and study and know and to pray and ask God for answers. SOme will and some wont. BUt, when its time for Heaven, which is soon, what would God do with those that still want to sin, murder, violance, rape, adultry homosexuality, lieing , stealing, all of it??? IF they went to heaven with us, they would do it there too, we are all given chance after chance after chance and if some wont go to God, its not His fault or ours. God says that we either serve Him or the devil. WE must choose for Jesus and if we dont, the devil is who we are serving, whether we know it or not and hell is where you go. God doesnt want any to go there, this is why He tries to warn us all, but so few will hear, let alone follow Jesus and live Like Him. We are told to think like Him, be like Him, walk like Him, talk like Him, speak like Him. Well to many that is just not their thing. They want to be sleeping around, doing drugs, whatever their little held onto loved and cherished sin is and they will not give it up. Which is ok, its choice, But God tells us the price for not choosing Jesus, so why wil those ppl blame Him for being lost. Even now, I hear so many saying if there is a God why does He allow sin? Free choice. But why dont they stop sinning/ They sin and then blame God. now tell me if the devil doesnt hold in a cloud of confusion? YES. But when you are truly Gods, no weapon formed against you will prosper, and GOD will hold you in His truths and protect you.
Most of us have sinned and we better turn from it, repent of it and love God withall our heart and learn to live as Jesus lived and it cane be done too, by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit by the power of Jesus blood on the cross. With God, all things are possible, without God, we are nothing and on the wall to hell. Choose soon and choose wisely for Jesus is coming soon.

Yes. Unbelievers deny his love. They push him away and pretend they don't need him. They would rather serve themselves. God wanted our love so much; that he came down in human form and suffered for us. What more can God do to win us, besides making us robots?

The fact that God would do such a loving thing for us, we can't truly comprehend. Even though my pastor has read passages of this many many times, he couldn't help but cry a bit as he read a passage in John today.

There are a few of us who have a small idea of how much he loves us, but no human can truly comprehend it.
