A radiologic technologist does not get constant radiation. As a matter of fact, we get little if any more than anyone else. We are behind a lead lined wall when exposures are taken, or are protected by a lead apron when in the room.

School is generally 40 hours per week for 2 years.

Salary varies greatly depending on where you live, what type of facility you work for, etc.

There is not a "butt load" of math, and it does not affect your ability to have children.

I went to school to be a Surg tech... I had school mates that were Rad.Tech Students. You make 35-50k here in Houston.
Radiation is a concern ONLY if you don't take the proper precautions. A lead vest/thyroid shield will protect vital organs from radiation. Most of your duties will be performed BEHIND a lead lined wall. No exposure.
The school BTW is 2 years Long and requires a butt load of math

No. in case you prefer to squawk approximately something look on the records for TSA scans/x-rays that are bombarding unsuspecting passengers at U.S. airports. look on the records re: annual mammograms actual inflicting breast maximum cancers on an identical time as giving particularly some fake positives and lacking the boat on actual cancers. How approximately bone test machines going haywire and bombarding sufferers with risky tiers of radiation. in case you have been rather worried you're able to have refused the x-rays interior the 1st place or asked greater questions before allowing your self to be x-rayed particularly of attempting to make some form of propaganda case against Chiropractic afterwards. How approximately ranting approximately finished mouth dental x-rays next? notably the dentists who "forget" to place up the thyroid shelter, hmmm?
