The best tip I can give you is to err on the side of caution. Do not exceed the speed limit. Start and stop smoothly. Signal in advance for a turn. Turn off the radio and go with a maximum of 1 passenger per ride; you could get distracted. Schedule time with a qualified driving instructor; they know what to do. Practice in an empty parking lot. And most of all, RELAX. Tension is horrible for drivers, especially new drivers. If you have a choice, go for a straight and self-explanatory road rather than a curvy one. Take the interstate often. It's straight and relaxing. And it will give you a comfort for speed. Drive with your parents sometime as they can also give you some helpful tips. Just don't make any mistakes they might have made. Good luck.

Most women are bad drivers, beware of elderly drivers, the turn signal is that lever on the steering column, and if you are first to get to a 4 way stop, YOU go first.
