I have severe Fibromyalgia and have been bedridden for seventeen years. Yes, I get headaches as well. I take anti inflammatory medication for the pain and stiffness. I take a serotonin uptake drug to help with my sleep. I take mild painkillers because I don't want the heavy drugs. And muscle relaxants help a great deal with my leg pain.
I have written an article on Fibromyalgia and I give advice on what you can do to treat yourself and home. I've enclosed the link for you.

i take an antiinflammatory called voltaren. its by prescription. it worked by removing the swelling and inflammation i had but it took about 2 months too see improvement. you may try motrin, an over the counter med. take per the bottle. also, gentle and consistent exersice like walking is the best. i kno wit hurts, but it will help in the long run. try taking warm baths too.goodluck;)michele ps i also get migraines and have an rx for it.

welcome to my world.
I try meditaiton, I avoid hard pain meds as much as possible. I alternate over the counter meds, tylenol, bufferin, bayer, etc. Low impact excercise like swimming in a marm pool helps a lot. And yes, chronic headaches suck!!!
