ran diagnostic at autozone and had random misfire code. used autotech softwared and suggested egr or posible pvc maybe to blame but unsure if that is correct

guess i should have added the engine part lol its a 4.7 magnum engine i did dry it out before i installed the new plugs may also be a coil problem since each plug has its individual coil ontop of it any thought are apreciated

Change the distributor cap and rotor, and plug wires, sounds like moisture is seeping in somewhere.

Knowing what engine you are talking about would help immensely. Going with what is usually found in '02 Dodges, I'd say you have a spark plug wire problem. Quite often, when excessive water collects around a spark plug, it causes ARCING which usually damages the spark plug wire boots (the part that goes over top of the spark plug). This is just a quess....

the water will cause one to miss-fire ,it creates a path for voltage to jump to ground before it reaches the plugs,id try drying it out and see if that helps it,knowing what engine you have would have helped a lot also,good luck with it.
