I'm assuming if you didn't trust your girlfriend you had good reason, but what's the point of even having a girlfriend if you can't trust her? In general, once it's revealed that trust is lacking in a relationship, YES, that revelation does great harm to that relationship.

i believe part of a good relationship is the trust that the two people have in one another.

i always heard that a relationship is based on three things : LOVE HONESTY and TRUST. there is probably a reason that you dont trust her but honestly there is no good relationship with out trust !

Yes. If she can't come to you with things, then she would hold things inside, and she might want to date someone else that will trust her. If it is something that she might cheat on you, then you need to get over that. If she does, then forget her.

absolutely, however, if she has done something to break her trust in you, then it's not your fault, but if you are willing to get through it and you want to trust her again, it is going to be a battle for you and she should understand that.
