I flew on an aircraft with the registration I - BUST?

As you can imagine I was not a very happy bunny, Is that (italian) aircraft still in being and where is it now?

HH...that was Alitalia's so called financial state. It was an airbus 300B4-103. On Alitalia's official fleet, it is listed as scrapped. Kind of surprising to me since it only entered services in 1989 (i think)
